Family with children, worth the splurge
The architecture of the building caught my eye right when we walked in-this place is a masterpiece, doesn’t look like your average hotel. And the staff? They went above and beyond. The front desk even brought us chocolate-covered strawberries-who does that? That’s great service that makes you feel special.
Sure, it wasn’t the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, right?

Checked in for two nights at this historic hotel. The beauty of the building really caught my eye. High ceilings and stunning architecture added charm. The room felt spacious, and the bed was decently comfortable. Loved the location near restaurants and the river. Staff interactions were friendly, which made us feel welcome. However, valet service was inconsistent and slow. We waited longer than expected a few times. No luggage assistance at the entrance was a letdown. Had to haul our bags up some steps myself. Would appreciate more help there. Overall, enjoyed the stay despite a few hiccups.

We loved the elegant architecture and enjoyed spacious rooms that made our family feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the valet parking relieved us from the stress of finding parking in busy downtown. The location was ideal, with lots of attractions nearby.
My kids wished for more family-friendly activities at the hotel.

the hilton garden is a lovely spot! the staff is super friendly, especially chris at the front desk who offered us comped breakfast. our first room wasn't cleaned, but chris quickly moved us to another lovely, spotless room and even gave us a bottle of wine. this hotel is not only beautiful but also rich in history, right by the riverwalk.

The historic charm of the old building truly amazed me! The grand staircase felt like a scene out of a movie, making it easy to overlook a few creaky floorboards.
More staff assistance with luggage would be helpful.

The Hilton Garden was a delightful experience with a perfect location in a historic building. The staff exemplified professionalism. I particularly appreciated the prompt assistance I received at the front desk. The room was not only clean and comfortable but also spacious enough for work and relaxation during my business trip. The breakfast provided a good variety of choices, including fresh fruit and a made-to-order omelet station.
The parking rate felt a bit high.

The location was perfect for checking out the lake and the public market. The rooms were spacious, and having a fridge and microwave was super handy. Staff were friendly, making us feel right at home. Definitely recommend this place for a group getaway.
One downside was the lack of help with our luggage. There were steps to the lobby that made it a bit of a hassle, especially with heavy bags.

The historical charm of the building added a unique touch to my stay. The King Room was cozy and well-maintained, with a modern bathroom and great cleaning service. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the attentive staff made the experience even better. However, the initial mix-up with the room was a bit inconvenient, and the overall noise level could have been lower in the hallways.
